My name’s Lucio. I am a student at Perkiomen Valley High School. I believe in putting 100% of my energy into things I think I can improve on. Discipline is a big part of my life and I strive to improve at things I am passionate about.
Motivation can be hard for high school students to find, and while I am disciplined, sometimes my lack of passion on a certain topic can hinder me. I often see levels of stress among high school students that are shocking. This stress around me lead me to live life under the philosophy of work hard, but don’t forget to stop and smell the roses.
I refuse to work a 9-5 desk job. We live in a cookie cutter world and we need more raw passion and grit to change things. I plan to work hard in my future career, but I want to connect and help people along the way. I believe that being a genuinely good person is an underrated idea in today’s culture but I have learned over the years that spreading positive ideas and actions goes a long way.
